Bishop JL Carter of Ark Church in East Baltimore is one faith leader included in the grassroots organization Act Now Baltimore which is led by Rev. Al Hathaway of Union Baptist Church.

The group’s goal is to have faith leaders embedded in every Baltimore City council district to help connect people to the elected leaders inside City Hall as well as ensure those leaders are held accountable.
