Accountability, credibility, and transparency. That is the focus of faith leaders’ ACT Now Baltimore efforts geared towards City leaders.
“What’s going on in our schools?” said Reverend Al Hathaway, Chair of ACT Now Baltimore. “Our children are our future.”
On Friday, Chair of the City’s Education Committee, Councilman Robert Stokes, said he is calling for a hearing to address concerns of students being promoted or passed despite failing grades at a City high school.
The push for a hearing comes less than four days after a Project Baltimore investigation into Augusta Fells Savage Institute of Visual Arts.
